Academic Affairs Awards
The Provost's Awards to Faculty and Professional Staff allow the University to honor full-time and part-time faculty and professional staff for their demonstrated excellence in serving the educational and scholarly missions of the University. These awards recognize individuals and/or teams for their outstanding contributions to the University and their scholarly fields. Our awardees inspire the entire ODU community to achieve and sustain excellence in educational and scholarly pursuits.

Since 1987, the Outstanding Faculty Awards are the Commonwealth's highest honor for faculty at Virginia's public and private colleges and universities recognizing superior accomplishments in teaching, research, and public service.
